remarkable：目立つ→派手な
詳しく見ると remark「目につく」と able「可能な」で組み合わせで remarkable「目立つ」です。ここでは「目立つ」→「派手な」と考え、周りよりも顕著な様子を表します。remarkable behavior の他 remarkable work「並外れた作品」や remarkable performance「派手な（目につく）パフォーマンス」の様に使います。また会話では be remarkable for ～「～で目立つ」の様に使います。
