講義を欠席する を英語で教えて!

lecture 「講義」

I won't be able to attend the lecture today because I'm sick.
体調を崩してしまったので、今日の講義に出席することができません。(欠席させて頂きます。)

2. be absent from the lecture
absent 「欠席」

I will be absent from the lecture because I’m sick.
体調を崩したので、講義を欠席させていただきます。

これらの二つの表現は、「やむを得ず欠席する」というニュアンスで使います。
また、 skip the lecture は「ずる休み」や「さぼり」という意味で使うことができます。
