might は将来の可能性を表す語句です。
might not - で「 （将来）- しないかもしれない」ということを示唆します。
同じく、未来のことを指す表現でネイティブがよく好んで使う表現に end up - ing という動詞があります。
これは「（結局） - する」という意味を持ちます。

I bought it impulsively, but I might not end up using it.
衝動的に買ったけど、結局使わないかもしれない。

buy impulsively：衝動買いをする

ちなみに衝動買いを表現する名詞としては impulsive shopping があります。
