初めまして☆2017年からNCを始め、2019年にNC講師になりました。現在は育児の隙間時間に翻訳や自習をしながら復帰に向けて準備中です♪

ピラティス を英語で教えて!

ピラティスで体幹を鍛えたい。
I want to train my trunks with Pilates.
trunk= 幹、主要部、体幹

ex. Yoga and Pilates are popular with many women.
ヨガやピラティスは多くの女性に人気があります。

ex. swimming is a good exercise to train my trnks.
水泳は体幹を鍛えるのに良い運動です。

ex. train the core of my body.
体幹を鍛える訓練。

純粋な人 を英語で教えて!

ひねくれていない素直な人を純粋な人と言います。
An honest person who is not perverse is a pure person.
perverse＝ つむじまがりの、ひねくれた、非を認めない
pure person＝純粋な人

ex. a person who is pure and innocent
純粋無垢な人

ex. I'm a pure Japanese.
私は純粋な日本人です。

ex. He is a simple and pure person.
彼は素朴で純粋です。

猫可愛がりする を英語で教えて!

My grandfather dotes on my daughter.
祖父は私の娘を猫可愛がりしています。
dote on=溺愛する、猫可愛がりする

ex.My mother loves her pet like her own child.
母はペットを自分の子供の様にかわいがります。
love=愛する、可愛がる

ex. We are affectionate to our children well.
私達は子供に強く愛情を抱いています。

be affectionate to= ～も愛情を持つ、いつくしむ

ひざまづく を英語で教えて!

妻にひざまずいてプロポーズしたことをよく覚えています。
I remenber well that I knelt down and proposed to my wife.

kneel-knelt-knelt= ひざを曲げる
kneel down= ひざまずく

ex.I wear socks that are up to my knees.
膝まである靴下を履きます。
knee＝ひざ
up to~=~まである

ex. I kneel down and pray.
ひれ伏して祈ります。
kneel down＝ひれ伏す、ひざまずく
