初めまして☆2017年からNCを始め、2019年にNC講師になりました。現在は育児の隙間時間に翻訳や自習をしながら復帰に向けて準備中です♪

毛穴 を英語で教えて!

このファンデーションは毛穴を隠す効果があるそうです。
This foundation seems to have the effect of hiding pores.

pores=毛穴（poreの複数形）
hide=~～を隠す
effect = 効果

ex. 毛穴パックをしたら余計に毛穴がひらきました。
When I packed my pores, my pores opened even more.

ex. このローションで毛穴をひきしめましょう。
Let's tighten the pores with this lotion.

面倒くさそうだね を英語で教えて!

面倒くさそうだね 。
It looks annoying.
It is troublesome.
It sounds like a hassle.

annoying＝迷惑な、うるさい、煩わしい
troublesome＝面倒な
hassle =いらいらさせること

ex.彼は迷惑なやつだ。
He is a pain in the neck.
pain in the neck = 問題をおこす人、物、悩みの種

【参考】
それに関わるとめんどくさい事になるよ。
If you get involved in it, you will fell into troublesome things.

面積 を英語で教えて!

この部屋の面積はどのくらいですか？
How much is the area of this room?

area=面積
(square, measure,space,size などもほぼ同じ意味で使えるようです。)

ex.このアパートの面積(サイズ）はどれくらいですか？
What is this apartment size?

【参考】
この四角形の面積をもとめなさい。
Find the (surface) area of this square.
☆数学で使う場合は【surface area】も使えるようです。

免疫力をあげる を英語で教えて!

免疫力をあげて、コロナにかからないようにしたい。
I want to boost my immunity system so that I don't get corona.

boost = ～をあげる
immunity system = 免疫力
immunity = 免疫

ex. 適度な運動は免疫力をあげるのに効果的です。
Moderate exercise is effective for boosting immunity system.
moderate= 適度な
effective=効果的な

迷惑をかける を英語で教えて!

ご迷惑をおかけしました。
I'm sorry for the inconvenience.

inconvenience＝迷惑、不都合(N)
inconvenient＝迷惑な(Ajc)
be sorry for～＝～を申し訳ありません

ex. 困っています。
I'm in trouble.
I have a trouble.
trouble = 　苦労、心配　(※可算・不可算名詞、どちらの用法もあります。）

【参考】
I apologize for the inconvenience.
sorry よりもフォーマルな謝罪の場合は、apologize がbetterです。
