初めまして☆2017年からNCを始め、2019年にNC講師になりました。現在は育児の隙間時間に翻訳や自習をしながら復帰に向けて準備中です♪

目頭が熱くなる を英語で教えて!

子供の卒業式に参加して目頭が熱くなった。
I paticipated in my child’s graduation ceremony and I was moved to tears.

私の目頭が熱くなった。
My eyes filled with tears.

☆ fill with = ～であふれる、いっぱいになる
☆ be moved to tears. = 目頭が熱くなる。
（形式的なイディオム表現で使われているようです）
tears = 涙

目頭が熱くなる→目に涙が溢れるという解釈で考えてみました。

目頭・目尻 を英語で教えて!

inner corner of the eyes = 目頭
tail of the eyes = 目尻
outter corner of the eyes = 目尻

【 補足 】
innner=内側の
tail＝尾、すそ、おさげ
outer = 外側の

目頭に関係する表現を紹介します。
be moved to tears = 目頭が熱くなる。

ex.この映像を見ると、私は目頭が熱くなります。
When I look at the video , I'm moved to tears.

目覚まし時計が鳴る を英語で教えて!

①目覚まし時計が鳴っても起きられないです。
I can't get up even if the alarm clock goes off.
☆go off = (アラームや警報音が）鳴る/ 立ち去る、腐る

② 寝室の目覚まし時計が鳴っています。
The alarm clock in the bedroom is ringing.
☆ring = ( ベルやサイレンなどが ) 鳴る(V)

ex. I ring for my dog = ベルを鳴らして犬を呼びます

chime=（音を鳴らして）時刻を告げる。

目を見て話す を英語で教えて!

学校で生徒には相手の目は見て話そうねと伝えます。
①At school, I tell the students to look into/at the other person's eyes and talk.
☆ look into/in the eyes and talk=目を見て話す
look into/in =～をの覗き込む、調べる、研究する

②I give you a good eyecontact when talking to you.
☆give a good eyecontact when talking＝目を見て話す

ex. 検討させて下さい。
Please let me look into it.
look into には【検討する、調べる】という意味もあります。

目を開けていられない を英語で教えて!

痛々しい場面では、目を開けていられない。
I can't keep my eyes open when I see a painful scene.
☆can't keep my eyes open＝目を開けていられない
※keep O＋C＝OをCの状態に保つ
painful=痛々しい

②It's hard to keep my eyes open.
目を開けておくのが困難です、目を開けていられない。
☆It's hard to～＝～するのが困難です。

ex. その残酷なシーンになると目を背けずにはいられません。
This scene is too cruel for me to keep my eyes open.
☆ too cruel to keep my eyes open.=あまりに残酷で、目を開けていられない
