「定員割れ」は英語では shortage of applicants で表現することができます。

トタン屋根 を英語で教えて!

「トタン屋根」は英語では tin roof で表現することができます。
※英語で a cat on a hot tin roof（熱いトタン屋根の上の猫）という言い回しがあります。意味は、"ソワソワしている"というニュアンスになります。

（床屋の隣の赤いトタン屋根が私の家です。）
