自己紹介

こんにちは。現在、日本の大学生で英語や国際関係などを学んでいます。

アメリカ留学や海外でのインターンシップ経験を生かして、皆さんのご活躍を英語という学問から支えることができればと思います。

まだ至らない点もあるかと思いますが、少しでも皆さんの英語学習の力になることができたら幸いです。

卵焼いたよ を英語で教えて!

1. I cooked some eggs.
cooked は「料理する」という意味ですが、ここでは fried eggs「 目玉焼き」や scrambled eggs「スクランブルエッグ」など、卵を焼いたり炒めたりするニュアンスを持っています。

I cooked some eggs last night, but I forgot to season them.
昨晩卵を調理したけど、味付けを忘れました。

seasonで「味付け」です。

2. I made some eggs.
made は料理を「作る」という意味を持つ動詞です。

I made some eggs for the kids. I made an omelet with cheese and vegetables.
子供たちのために卵を作りました。チーズと野菜入りのオムレツを作りました。

最前線の仕事についてる を英語で教えて!

1. I am working on the front lines.
work on で「仕事をする」「仕事に就く」という意味です。最前線は英語では front lines と訳します。よくニュースなどで耳にするフレーズです。

I am working on the front lines of this project.
このプロジェクトの最前線の仕事に就いている。

2. I am in a key role.
key は直訳すると「鍵」ですが、「重要な」という意味も持つ英単語です。role は「役割」という意味です。

I am in a key role in this critical task.
この重要な仕事で最前線の役割を担っている。

critical ＝重要な　task=仕事

変化が出てきた を英語で教えて!

1. There has been a change
There has beenは「〜があった」「〜が発生した」という意味を持つフレーズで、完了形の構文です。過去から現在までの間に何かの出来事や変化があったことを述べる際に使用されます。 change は「変化」です。

There has been a change in the dog's behavior.
犬の行動に変化が出てきた。

behavior ＝「行動」です。

2. There has been a noticeable difference.
noticeable は「目に見える」という意味です。difference は「違い」「変化」を表す英単語です。

There has been a noticeable difference in the dog's attitude.
犬の態度に目に見える変化が出てきた。

attitude ＝「態度」です。

高級料亭に連れて行きます を英語で教えて!

高級料亭は英語で high-end restaurant もしくは luxurious restaurant と言います。

1. I will take you to a high-end restaurant tonight.
take ～で「～を連れていく」となります。high-endは、品質や価格が高いものを指す形容詞です。

I will take you to a high-end restaurant tonight. It's located in Tokyo.
今晩は高級料亭に連れて行きます。東京に位置しています。

2. I will take you to a luxurious restaurant this evening.
luxurious は「豪華な」という意味を持つ英単語です。

I will take you to a luxurious restaurant this evening. I hope our client likes it.
今晩は豪華なレストランに連れて行きます。私たちの顧客が喜ぶことを願います。

私で6代目になります を英語で教えて!

1. I will be the 6th generation.
I will be ～で「～になる」という未来形の表現になります。generation は「世代」を表します。

I will be the sixth generation to carry on this family business.
私でこの家業の6代目になります。

family businessは「家業」という意味です。

2. I will be the 6th in the line of succession.
私は継承の6番目になります。

succession は「継承」です。

I will be the sixth in the line of succession for this role.
この役割において、私が6代目になります。
