すみません、返事がとても遅くなりました。wereで合っているようで安心しました!was使うこともあるけど、wereが基本的には正しそうですね!
お二人とも、詳しいご説明をありがとうございました!

If I were, If he were, If she wereが文法的に正しいです。
でも、実際の英語では、If I was, If he was, If she wasもバンバン使われていて、私もhi**さんと同じ説明を受けてしまった経験があります。あくまでも、「文法的にはIf I were, If he were, If she wereが正しい」ってことですが、英語の先生にはそういう説明をしてもらいたいですよね(笑)

その文法事項の説明は、ネット上にもたくさんありますが、NCの教材の中にもありました。
文法・中級の「Grammar Middle 28 I wish I were an astronaut.」の中に、
We use "wish + the second conditional" to talk about those situations. Be aware of the fact that we use "were" when we use "wish + be-verb".
Ex :
I wish I were a bird. / I wish he were not mean. / I wish she were my wife.
I wish he spoke English. / I wish I could stay longer. / I wish I had a car.
という説明もあります。

Side by Side 4、82 ページ " We've Got Mail! " に説明があります。(NCのサイトでは省略されていて見られません)
英文のままで載せておきます。

If he were stronger, he'd be able to lift weights.
If I were bitten by a dog, I'd call the doctor.
If she weren't in a bad mood, she wouldn't be shouting.

"Were" is the grammatically correct verb in these conditional sentences.
However, it is indeed very common in informal speech for people to say "was."
If you were a student in our classroom, we would encourage you to use "were".
That's the correct form, and after all, you're studying the rules of the language!

NCの講師にも確かに自分の文法知識だけが正しいと主張する方々がいます。
先の例では、formal と informal (カジュアル) の説明があれば問題なかったんでしょうね。
