限定開催 を英語で教えて!

「Limited-time event」は、文字通り「期間限定イベント」のことだよ！

「今だけしか手に入らない」「この時期だけの特別セール」みたいな、特別感やお得感を出すときに使われる言葉。ゲームの特別ミッションや、お店の季節限定メニュー、オンラインショップのセールなど、様々な場面で登場するよ！見かけたら「お、何か特別なことやってるな」って思ってOK！

ちなみに、「Exclusive offer for a limited time」は「今だけ、あなただけに特別なご提案です！」というニュアンスです。お得な情報に加えて「選ばれた人だけ」「期間限定」という特別感を出すときに使えます。メールマガジンやお店のポップなどで、お客さんの「見逃したくない！」という気持ちを盛り上げたい時にぴったりですよ。

Is this a limited time event? または Is this an event for a limited period only? と表現します。

期限限定の表現は a limited time, for a limited period 以外にもfor a temporary periodやfor a fixed periodがあります。

２．対象限定の場合：Is this event limited to ○○？
