電車が遅延している を英語で教えて!

台風でなかなか電車が来ないので、「電車が遅延している」と言いたいです。

be動詞 delayedで「～が遅れている」という意味になります。

例文：
The train is delayed due to the typhoon.
台風のせいで電車が遅延しています。

＊ due to = because of ～のせいで
(ex) I couldn’t go abroad for a long time due to this pandemic.
このパンデミックのせいで、長期間海外に行けなかった。

A: What time does your train arrive?
何時に電車が着くの？
B: It’s supposed to be here at 9 AM, but the train is delayed.
9時に着く予定なんだけど、電車が遅延しているんです。

＊ be動詞 supposed to 動詞の原形　～のはずです、本来は～のはずです
(ex) The train is supposed to be here at 3, but it has not been here yet.
電車は本来、3時にここに来るはずだけどまだ来てないです。
