インフルエンザにかかった を英語で教えて!

「インフルエンザ」は英語で、Influenza ですが、普段は the flu と略すのが一般的です。
「風邪を引く」を catch a cold というのと同じように、
「インフルエンザにかかる」も catch を使って、 catch the flu と言います。

I caught the flu. I am going to be absent today.
「インフルエンザにかかりました。本日お休みします。」
※be absent 「休む」

同様に、get も使えます。
I have not been feeling well since last night. I think I got the flu. It is going around in the office.
「昨夜から体調がよくないんだ。インフルエンザだと思う。オフィスで流行っているんだ。」
※not feel well 「体調が良くない、気分が良くない」、go around 「流行る」
