初めまして☆2017年からNCを始め、2019年にNC講師になりました。現在は育児の隙間時間に翻訳や自習をしながら復帰に向けて準備中です♪

応援団長 を英語で教えて!

憧れていたので、応援団長に立候補した。
I was longing for it, so I ran for the leader of the cheering squad.
英語で「応援団長」は【leader of the cheering squad. 】【head cheerleader】で言うことが出来ます。

the cheering squad＝応援団
head = トップの～
long for ～＝～に憧れる、慕う

ex. 応援団員になるためにこの学校に入園した。
I entered this school to become a member of the school's cheering squad.

往生際が悪い を英語で教えて!

「往生際が悪い」は「窮地に追いやられて、負けを認めざるえない場合にもそれを認めず、未練がましくいる様」をいいます。
英語では【bad loser】【not know when to give up】で言うことができます。

ex. あなたは往生際が悪いぞ。(← 往生際の悪い奴になるなよ）
Don't be a bad loser.

ex. 往生際の悪い人にはなりたくない。
I don't want to be a person who doesn't know when to give up.

往診 を英語で教えて!

「往診」は英語で【 house call 】【 house visit 】などで言うことが出来ます。

ex. 体が動かないので、往診に来て貰いました。
I could't move my body ,so I had docter come to make a house call.

ex. 往診は普通の診察より少し高い。
A fee for a docter's visit is a little more expensive than nomal check.
a fee for a docter's visit=往診料

奥さんの手料理が最高 を英語で教えて!

奥さんの手料理、最高ですね。
Your wife's home cooking is the most delicious.

「奥さんの手料理、最高ですね」は英語で
【Your wife's home cooking is the most delicious.】
【Your wife's cooking is the best.】となります。
home cooking=手作り料理
the most ～ /best ＝ 一番～です(最上級）

ex. この店のラーメンは最高です。
The ramen at this store is the best.

奥が深い を英語で教えて!

盆栽は奥が深いですね。
The world of Bonsai is a deep art.
英語で「深い」は【deep】で言うことが出来ます。
「いり込んだ、複雑な」という意味の【intricate】も奥深いというニュアンスを含んだ意味になります。

ex. 日本の盆栽や書道はとても奥深く、簡単には習得できない。
Japanese bonsai and calligraphy are very deep and not easy to learn.

be not easy to=簡単には出来ない
