初めまして☆2017年からNCを始め、2019年にNC講師になりました。現在は育児の隙間時間に翻訳や自習をしながら復帰に向けて準備中です♪

絵の具などを使って色を付ける を英語で教えて!

「絵の具などを使って色を付ける」は英語で【I'll use paint to color it.】と言います。
paint ＝絵具、ペンキ、塗料
color ＝色づける(V)/色（N）

ex. 大きなキャンバスに絵の具を使い色を塗ります。
I'll color the big canvas with paint.
canvas = キャンバス

ex. 美術の授業の為に絵の具をまとめ買いしました。
I bought paints in bulk for the art class.
in bulk=まとめて

海藻 を英語で教えて!

「海藻」は英語で【seaweed（可算/不可算）】【marine plant (可算）】【marine algae】で言う事が出来ます。

seaweed は可算・不可算のどちらの意味も持ちます。
総称した海藻の場合は不可算で、おのおのの海藻を言う場合は可算になります。

ex. 海には沢山の海藻がいて、私たちはそれらを食します。
There are a lot of seaweeds in the sea and we eat them.

ex.これは色々な海藻類を混ぜ合わせた海藻サラダです。
This is a seaweed salad mixed with various seaweeds.

海草 を英語で教えて!

「海草」は英語で【seaweed(可算/不可算)】【marine plant(可算)】で言うことが出来ます。
sea は「海」で weed は「雑草、藻」で組み合わせて「海藻」です。

ex.最近の海洋汚染はこのあたりの海藻にも影響を与えています。
The recent marine pollution has also affected the seaweeds around here.

marine pollution= 海洋汚染
affect＝影響を与える
around here＝この辺り

ex.海藻は海底で成長する。
Marine plants grow on the sea bed.

懐中電灯 を英語で教えて!

懐中電灯は必ず家に置いてます。
I always keep the flashlight at home.

英語で「懐中電灯」は【flashlight】で言うことが出来ます。

ex. 懐中電灯の電池が無いので交換してください。
The battery of the flashlight is no longer there, so please replace it.

ex.災害時には懐中電灯をつけ、足元を確かめます。
In the event of a disaster, turn on a flashlight and check my feet.

解散する を英語で教えて!

今日はここで解散します。
We'll break up here today.

英語で「解散」は【break up】で言うことが出来ます。

ex. そろそろパーティーのお開きだよ。
It's time to break up the party.
break up=お開き、解散

また「解散する」は「お別れする」という意味なので【say goodbye】でもいう事が出来ます。

ex. この時間にこの場所でお別れしましょう。
Let's say goodbye at this place at this time.
