1、Demi-glace ⚫︎I like Japanese omurice, which is an omelet fulled with ketchup chicken fried rice. 1 、Gardener ⚫︎Uekiya and Niwashi in Japanse are a term of professional gardeners. 日本語の植木屋と庭師とはプロのガーデナーを指す言葉です。 A term of 用語 ⚫︎We both call them a gardener in English but they’re different. 植木師も庭師も英語ではガーデナーと言いますが、両者は異なったものです。 ⚫︎Niwashi is a person who creates Japanese gardens and maintain while Uekiya is an expert and mainly prune and transplant trees. 庭師は日本庭を造り、管理を行う人というのに対して植木屋は主に樹木の剪定や移植を行う専門家です。 Mainten 管理する Expert 専門家 Prune 剪定する Transplant 移植 ⚫︎Uekiya work is more limited while Niwashi is in charge of entire garden. 植木屋の仕事はより限定的ですが、庭師は庭園全体の管理を担当しています。 Be＋in charge of 担当している Entire全体の ⚫︎Niwashi is required to have a knowledge of plants and trees but also design and architecture. 庭師には植物や樹木の知識だけでなく、デザインや建築の知識も求められます。 A but also B ーAだけでなくBも Be＋required 要求される、必要になる A knowledge of 知識が豊富である、精通している Design 設計 Architecture 建築 ⚫︎I need to ask a gardener to have him/her prune our garden trees. 植木屋さんに剪定をお願いしたいです。 Plantsman 植物の専門家 Arborist 樹医

Knightは特別な功績に対して称号を与えられた人物のことで、Cavalierは英国南北戦争でチャールズ 1 世を支持した王党派のことです。 日本語では同じ騎士という意味でも違う意味として使われます。 通常私たちが思う騎士はKnightですね。 Cavalier attitude というと横暴な態度という意味があり、 Cavalierは人の気を遣えない横暴な人という意味あります。
