初めまして☆2017年からNCを始め、2019年にNC講師になりました。現在は育児の隙間時間に翻訳や自習をしながら復帰に向けて準備中です♪

説得力がある を英語で教えて!

あの人の話は説得力がある。
①His story is convincing.
convincing = 説得力がある

ex.説得力のある仮説を発見しました。
I found a convincing hypothesis.
a convincing hypothesis = 説得力のある仮説

②その発言はとても信頼性が高い。
The statement is very reliable.
statement = 発言
reliable = 信頼感のある、信頼できる

ex.説得力の無いことを言っても仕方ない。
There's no point in saying something that's not convincing.
There's no point (in) ～ = ～しても仕方ない

気分がハイになる を英語で教えて!

気分が高揚する（ハイになる）。
①I feel uplifted.
uplifted ( upliftの過去形・過去分詞) = ～を揚げる、持ち上げる

そのニュースを聞いてみんなハイテンションになりました。
②Everyone was excited when they heard the news.
be excited = 興奮する、ハイになる

ex.私は今気持ちを抑えきれない。
I can't control my feelings right now.
control = 制御する、管理する

おまけ（景品） を英語で教えて!

どうしてそれを買ったの？
Why did you buy it？

おまけ（景品）が付いていたからだよ。
Because it had a prize.
prize = 賞、商品、賞金、景品

ex. toys with prizes.
景品付きのおもちゃ

ex. 私はそのおもちゃよりも、景品のお菓子が欲しかったんです。
I wanted prize sweets more than those toys.
prize sweets ＝ 景品のお菓子（この場合prizeは形容詞）

※prizeはコンテストなどで結果を出した際に貰える賞に対し、awardは主に仕事での業績を称える際の賞

その気にならない を英語で教えて!

天気が悪いと外に出る気にならないです。
If the weather is bad, I don't feel like going outside.（← first conditional）
don't feel like～ing = ～する気にならない

【シチュエーション】
やる気が起きないのは何故ですか？
Why aren’t you motivated?

多分お腹がすいているからです。
Probably because I'm hungry.

丁度よかった、料理したい気分だったんです。
It is just right. I feel like cooking.

裏から入手する を英語で教えて!

大きな声では言えないけど、それは裏から入手できました。
I can't say it loud, but I got it with a secret method.
with a secret method = 秘密の方法で
