something：何か
something は後に形容詞や文を付けて「（何か)～な物」を意味します。
例えば something new や「新しい物」や something special 「特別な物」の様に使います。
ここでは something you need「必要な物」を意味します。

文房具を買いに行きますが、何か要りますか？

request for shopping：買い物のリクエスト
