初めまして☆2017年からNCを始め、2019年にNC講師になりました。現在は育児の隙間時間に翻訳や自習をしながら復帰に向けて準備中です♪

パン を英語で教えて!

トースターでパンを焼いてくれませんか？
would you toast my bread ?

toast ＝ (トースターで)焼く
toast bread = (パンを)トーストする
bake bread = (パンを) オーブンで焼く

bread = パン(不可算名詞) / ex. white bread = 食パン

【☆色々なパン】
sweet bean paste / jam bun = アンパン
jam bun = ジャムパン
Franch bread ＝フランスパン
whole wheat bread ＝ 全粒粉パン
rye bread = ライ麦パン

ふすま・障子戸 を英語で教えて!

ふすま = Japanese sliding door
障子戸 = Japanese sliding door with paper panes

ex. この障子戸は開けるときに引っ掛かりやすい。
This Japanese sliding door (with paper panes) hitch easily in opening.

hitch = 引っ掛かる、詰まる
in ～ing = ～の時
pane = 窓ガラス(の 1 枚)、鏡板、(特に長方形の) 1 区画、(障子・格子などの)枠

労う を英語で教えて!

母の日に、母に労いの言葉をかけました。
① I gave my mother a word to show my gratitude on Mother's day.
☆words to show my gratitude = 労いの言葉

父の日に感謝の言葉を書いたカードを父に渡しました。
② I gave him a card with expressions of my gratitude on Father's Day.
☆expressions of my gratitude = 感謝の言葉、気持ち

※give 人 物 ＝ give 物 (to) 人

時間が解決してくれる を英語で教えて!

時間が解決してくれるよ。
- Time will solve it.

時間がなんとかしてくれるよ。
- Time will take care of it.

時間が過ぎるのを待とう。
- Let's wait for the time to pass.

【シチュエーション】
What's wrong.
どうしたの？

I'm depressed because she dumped me yesterday.
- 昨日彼女に振られて落ち込んでいます。

Time will solve your sadness.
- 時間が悲しみを解決してくれるよ。

潮時 を英語で教えて!

（私達の）恋愛の潮時です。
Now is the time for us to change/end our relationship.
Now is the time for A to ～ ＝ 今こそAが ～する時です。

☆It's time for a change. = そろそろ潮時です。
It's time for/to ＝ ～の時間です

ex. 今こそ毛Þ婚を決断する時です。
Now is the time to decide to get married.
get married (to) / marry 人 = 人と結婚する
※get marriedのmarriedは形容詞で、後に相手が来る際は to を置く。
