初めまして☆2017年からNCを始め、2019年にNC講師になりました。現在は育児の隙間時間に翻訳や自習をしながら復帰に向けて準備中です♪

管理する を英語で教えて!

我が家の家計は母が管理している。
My mother manages our family budget.
manage = ～を管理する/ex. manage to～ = なんとか～する
budget = 予算

ex. オンラインスクールの講師は大体自分で予定の管理ができるのでとても便利です。
Online school instructors are very flexible because they can handle their owns schedules.
handle = 取り扱う
flexible = 融通が利く、しなやかな
handle their owns schedules = 自分で予定を管理する

看板犬 を英語で教えて!

このお店にはかわいい看板犬がいつもいます。
There is always a cute poster/ mascot dog in this store.

poster/mascot dog = 看板犬
mascot = お店やグループのシンボルとして採用された人や動物

ex. 看板犬がやって来てからこの店は繁盛しました。
This store has prospered since the poster/ mascot dog came here.
prosper = 繫盛する,成長する

甘えん坊 を英語で教えて!

お兄ちゃんが甘えん坊に逆戻りしてしまいました。
My brother went back to being a spoiled child.

spoiled child = 甘えん坊
go back to = ～に戻る
spoiled = わがままな、甘やかされた

ex. 私の息子は突然甘えん坊になり赤ちゃんの様なふるまいをします。
My son suddenly becomes a spoiled child and behaves like a baby.
behave like～ = ～のように振る舞う

お局さん を英語で教えて!

彼女は(お局様で)横柄なので、注意した方が良いです。
She is bossy ,so you should be careful.

bossy = 威張っている、親分振る舞いの

ex. ずいぶん偉そうですね、何様のつもりですか？
You look so bossy, Who do you thikn you are？
look～ = ～に見える、～のようだ

ex.長年働いていますがお局さまにはなりたくありません。
I've been working for many years, but I don't want to be an arrogant senior woman.
arrogant = 横柄な、強情な
senior = 年上の、先輩の

お気持ちだけ受け取っておきます を英語で教えて!

お気持ちだけ受け取っておきます。
① I'll just take/accept your feelings.
take/accept = 受け取る、受け入れる
② No thank you but I appreciate your kindness.
