比重はspecific gravity（成分の比重）、importance（重要性）などさまざまな意味を持ちます。仕事や役割の場合では、weightに訳されます。

例文
The weight of work is unreasonable.
比重がおかしい。
the weight of work：（家事の）比重
unreasonable：不合理

Following the results of the work I have done so far, I burned out completely, I lowered the weight of my work a bit.
今までやってきた仕事の結果を受けて、完全に燃え尽きてしまい、少し仕事の比重を下げた。
