「立像」はそのままStanding statuesで表せます。Statueは「像」という意味です。

（宗教的な）聖人の立像は、歴史上よく破壊されてきた。
throughout Xで「Xを通じて」という意味です。

座像について説明したいときは、下の例文が参考になるでしょう。
