【chuck a sickie】
這是英國、澳洲和紐西蘭使用的俚語，
意思是「裝病請假」。

例）You know what, I broke up with my girlfriend last night.
　　Why don't you chuck a sickie and get on the piss?

你知道嗎？我昨晚跟女朋友分手了。
　　為什麼不裝病請假去喝到爛醉呢？

get on the piss = 去喝得爛醉（這是一個俚語，語氣比較粗俗，笑）

【pretend】假裝～

I pretended that I got sick. 我假裝我生病了。
I pretended to be sick. 我裝病。

「工作請假・蹺班」可以用
take a day off（請假）
skip work（翹班）
等表達方式。
