會用I completely thought that ~ 去表達這個意思。另外也有一些意思稍微不同的英語表達方式。
① I assumed that ~
assume基本的意思是
動詞--想當然地認為...(沒有根據的事情)、假定，假設。
因此I assume that ~ 可以表達擅自假設某種情況的意思。

例句
Ｉassumed that you didn't like natto.
我還以為你不喜歡納豆呢。

②I was under the impression that ~
impression基本的意思是
名詞---印象、感想
因此be under the impression=有那種印象＝以為、斷定事情是～的意思。
