「Not only」有「不僅～而且～」的意思，用於列舉兩個以上的事物。主要是在想要強調不只是某件事，還包含其他事情時使用。例如，「他不僅會說英文，還會說法文」用英文表達時，就是「He speaks not only English but also French」。可以用在各種情境，從日常對話到商業場合、學術文章都很常見。

I love to travel, as well as reading books at home.
我很喜歡旅行，也喜歡在家看書。

In addition to being a teacher, he is also a talented musician.
他除了是一名老師，同時也是一位很有才華的音樂家。

As well as和In addition to都用來提供額外資訊，但有細微的差別。As well as是在提供主要資訊後，再補充其他資訊；而In addition to則是在提供新資訊前，先預告還有其他資訊。此外，In addition to語氣較正式，As well as則比較口語化。
