我住在英國，但在收銀台很少聽到 total（合計）這個單字。比起這個，更常聽到的是直接報出總金額加上 please。

另外，如果想要表達「總共」的語感，也可以用 NT$～ altogether（全部、合計、加起來～元）這種說法。

例句
NT$1,000, please.
合計是1000元。

That’s NT$2,500 altogether. Cash or card?
合計是2,500元。請問要用現金還是刷卡？
※如上所述，有時在被告知總金額後，會被詢問付款方式。這時可以像 cash/card, please（請用現金/卡片）這樣回答，會比較順暢。
