Hello everyone, I’m Elsa. I’m from Taiwan. I’m currently an exchange student, so speaking English has become part of my everyday life. After going abroad, my thoughts about “language” changed a lot. When I first arrived in a foreign country, I had to practice for half a day just to order a cup of coffee. But it was exactly those clumsy, awkward moments that made me realize how difficult it is to learn a language well, and how it slowly helps you blend into a new world.
I’m very willing to help people who want to improve their English. And if you just want to chat, I’d also be happy to share my study abroad life with you.
As for my interests, I love seeing the world and meeting different people. Recently, I often watch movies with my friends. Whenever someone asks me what my hobby is, my answer is always “trying new things.” I’m the kind of person who gets excited for three minutes and then moves on, but thinking about it again, knowing a little bit of everything doesn’t seem like a bad thing.
Anyway, I’m looking forward to meeting all of you.
