①to be separated by death＝因死亡而分離
　例句：I can not start over my life by being separated my mother by death.
　　　　＝我無法因為母親的離世而重新開始我的生活。

②Final farewell＝永別
　例句：We have to say a final farewell to them at some point.
　　　　＝我們終究要在某個時刻對他們說永別。

final = 最後的、最終的
farewell = 告別、再見
（我覺得選項②比較適合。
