最初的例句，the end of the line 是「隊伍的最尾端」。
line 意思是「隊伍」，另外也可以使用 queue 這個單字。

即使想問「你是這列隊伍的最尾端嗎？」也不能直接將你等同於最後尾，而是要問「你是在隊伍的最後面嗎？」所以需要地點介系詞 at。

第二個表達 the last person 是「最後一個人」的意思。last 是「最後的」形容詞。
