【It is common sense that 】＝一般常識來說

common sense = 一般常識
common = 一般的、平常的

例）It is pretty common sense that you should not take a private phone call during the meeting.
　　一般而言，你不應該在開會時接私人電話。

pretty = 非常
private phone call = 私人電話

【Generally thinking, 】＝一般來說

general = 一般的、普遍的
例）Generally thinking, you can't take a private phone call during the meeting except for an emergency.
　　一般來說，除了緊急情況，你不能在開會時接私人電話。

except for = 除了
emergency = 緊急情況；突然事件

【Obviously, 】＝明顯地；顯然地

例）Well...Obviously, you had better not take a phone call in the meeting especially private one or even it’s a business one sometimes.
　　嗯……顯然地，你最好不要在開會時接電話，尤其是私人電話，即使是公事的電話，有時也不行。

had better not do something = 最好不要做某事
※had better 是比 should 更強烈的表達，與其說是建議，不如說是警告。had better 「如果不做～會～」是在某事可能帶來不好的結果時使用。而 should 並沒有這樣的感覺，只是暗示、建議而已。

　→　had better (not) do something "otherwise something bad will happen"

especially = 特別；尤其

☆during something = 在～期間
while something 常被誤用成表達「在～期間」，要小心該字的用法
while 之後要接S＋V。
例）While I was talking to her, my mom called me.
