特別養護老人之家以用 specialized nursing home、pecial nursing home （for the elderly）表達。
根據我澳洲朋友的說法，因為nursing home 本身就是為老年人設計的，所以加上 the elderly （老年人）可能顯得有些重複。因此，括號中的 for the elderly部分可以省略。
