・The closest station to XXX is OOO.

【The nearest station is OOO. 】
最近的車站是 OOO。

透過使用最高級，您是在說與其他車站相比【該車站是最近的=最近的】。
near =靠近/旁邊

【The closest station to XXX is OOO. 】
距離 XXX 最近的車站是 OOO。

close = 接近
to somewhere ＝接近...，將更接近具體的解釋。
