immigration (clearance)
「出入境手續」就是「出入境檢查」的意思，也可以說「immigration (clearance)」。
如果與你交談的人知道你是在談論機場，那麼說「immigration」就可以通了。

passport control
「passport control」也有「出入境檢查」的意思。

I hope I can pass immigration without any problems.
（我不知道我是否能夠順利辦理出入境手續……。）
