當我們想表達「表面上和某人相處得還不錯、看起來關係不錯」，但實際上並不是那麼親近時，英文可以怎麼說？

We are getting along pretty good on the surface, but she doesn't know I secretly hate her.
我們表面上相處得不錯，但她不知道我其實暗中討厭她。

在上述句子中所使用的『pretty』不是『可愛』的意思，而是『非常』的意思。

She appeared superficially happy, but her eyes told a different story of hidden sadness.
她表面上看起來很幸福，但她的眼神透露出隱藏的悲傷。

這裡補充說明『different story』。

有一個片語是『That's a different story』。直譯是『那是另一回事』，也就是說『這和那是兩回事』的意思。
