※「断捨離」をもし英語で表現するとしたら declutter などで表現できると思います。

I tried to dispose of the clothes I no longer needed, but I could only dispose of a few because there were still many clothes I could wear.
（いらなくなった服を処分しようとしたが、まだまだ着れる服が多かった為少ししか処分出来なかった。）
