另一個在美式英文裡非常普遍的口語表達是 bummer。
這個字專門用來形容那些讓你感到「真掃興」或「失望」的人事物。
當你聽到朋友分享了一件很倒楣的鳥事，你就可以立刻回一句「That’s a bummer」來表示同情。
它的同義字是 downer ，用來形容讓人心情低落、覺得很掃興的事情。
