比 as well as 更有強調感，語氣也更強烈。

in addition
這是正式書面語裡很常見的補充資訊用法。

容易混淆的類似表達
這兩個長得跟 as well as 有點像，但意思完全不同，別弄混了。
as well
放在句尾，意思就是「也」，比 too 稍微正式一點。
I’ll have the salmon, and the soup as well.

If you’re joining the call, I’ll dial in as well.

might (may) as well
這個片語則帶有「反正如此，不如就……吧」的語氣。

as well as 和 and 一樣嗎？
很多情況下，兩者可以互換，但語感其實不同。
and 比較像單純列舉，把兩個東西平行放在一起。
