當我們面對困難或挑戰時，經常會用「辛苦」這個詞來作表達。

「hardship」為名詞，表示「艱難、困苦」。

當與動詞「experience（經歷）」、「go through（通過）」、「face（面對）」一起用時，也可以用來表達「辛苦」。

我父親的成長過程經歷了很多艱辛。

I went through a lot of hardship when I started my own company.

pains

表達「疼痛」的名詞「pain」。

句型「be動詞 + at pains to 動詞」也可以用來表達「辛苦」。

在這個用法下，使用「pains」的複數形式。
