先從最常見的 notice 開始。notice 表示「注意到、察覺到」原本沒有特別留意的事情，常用於看到、聽到或發現某個變化、細節或現象，是日常英文中非常常見的說法。

（我注意到隔壁咖啡店換了新的 Logo。）
Did you notice that the air conditioner was making a strange noise?
（你有注意到冷氣發出奇怪的聲音嗎？）
observe
observe 表示「觀察、觀察到」，通常比 notice 正式，也比較強調有意識地仔細觀察，常見於研究、醫療、教育或較正式的描述。
例句：
The teacher observed that several students were struggling with the new grammar rule.
（老師觀察到有幾位學生對這個新的文法規則感到吃力。）
Researchers observed that the plants grew faster at higher temperatures.
（研究人員觀察到這些植物在較高的溫度下生長得更快。）
perceive
perceive 語氣比 notice 正式，表示「察覺、感知」某件事，也可以表示「如何看待、理解」某人或某件事。它常用於較抽象的變化、印象或認知。
例句：
She perceived a slight change in her friend’s tone during the phone call.
（她在通話中察覺到朋友語氣有些微妙的變化。）
I perceived that something was bothering him, even though he didn’t say anything.
（就算他什麼都沒說，我還是察覺到有事情在困擾他。）
detect
detect 表示發現或察覺某個不明顯、難以發現的事物，也常用於儀器、檢測、醫療或專業分析的情境。
例句：
The doctor detected a small change in her heart rate during the checkup.
（醫生在檢查時發現她的心率有些微變化。）
I could detect a hint of sarcasm in his reply.
（我從他的回覆中察覺出一絲諷刺的意味。）
sense
sense 表示憑直覺、氣氛或細微線索感覺到某件事，通常不像 notice 那樣強調明確注意到某個具體細節。
例句：
I sensed that something was wrong the moment I walked into the room.
（我一走進房間，就感覺到有什麼不對勁。）
She sensed that he was nervous even though he tried to hide it.
（就算他試圖掩飾，她還是察覺到他很緊張。）
aware
aware 是形容詞，表示「知道、意識到」某件事或某種情況。它描述的是一種認知狀態，本身不強調「突然察覺」的過程。
例句：
Please be aware that the store closes early on Sundays.
（請注意，這間店星期天會提早打烊。）
I am fully aware of the risks involved in this project.
（我完全清楚這個專案所涉及的風險。）

除了單字之外，英文裡也有不少片語能表達「察覺」的意思，日常對話中出現頻率很高，一起來看看。
catch on：領悟到、搞懂某件事，常用在說話者花了一點時間才明白狀況。
He didn’t catch on until everyone started laughing.
（他直到大家都笑出來，才搞懂狀況。）
pick up on something：察覺到不太明顯的細節、暗示、情緒或變化。
She picked up on the tension between her two coworkers right away.
（她立刻察覺到兩位同事之間的緊張氣氛。）
dawn on someone：某件事突然在腦中變得清楚，恍然大悟。
It suddenly dawned on me that I had booked my flight for the wrong date.
（我突然驚覺自己把班機訂錯日期了。）
wake up to something：開始意識、終於認清某個先前沒有充分注意到的重要事實或問題。
Many companies are finally waking up to the importance of employee mental health.
（許多公司終於意識到員工心理健康的重要性。）
