講到「接下來要做什麼」，很多人腦中第一個蹦出來的永遠是 will。這個字當然沒有錯，但用久了會發現，表達方式太單一，聽起來也少了點層次感。
我發現很多人明明想表達不同程度的「打算」，卻總卡在同一個句型裡打轉。今天就整理七種好用又自然的說法，每一種都有各自適合的情境。一起學習吧。

當一件事馬上就要發生，幾乎是下一秒的事，就可以用 be about to do。這個句型帶有一種「就差臨門一腳」的感覺，非常適合形容緊接著要發生的動作。

我馬上就要把發票寄給客戶了。
We’re about to close the deal after months of negotiation.

aim to do 〜
aim 這個字帶有「瞄準目標」的意味，用在表達計畫時，強調的是有明確目標的打算，很適合用在工作或個人目標的情境。
We aim to finish the prototype by the end of this month.
我們的目標是在這個月底前完成原型。
I aim to save enough money for a house down payment next year.

shall
shall 現在比較少單獨拿來表達一般的未來式，但在特定場合還是很常見。它最常出現在提出建議或詢問對方意願的時候，也會出現在正式文件或合約裡，用來表示規定或承諾。

be looking to do 〜
be looking to do 語氣比較輕鬆自然，常用在描述你正在積極尋求某個機會或改變，還沒完全定案，但方向已經很明確。
I’m looking to hire two new designers this quarter.

set out to do 〜
set out to do 強調的是「一開始就抱著這個目標出發」，帶有一種堅定、有計畫性的味道，很適合用來描述一段歷程的起點。

如果想強調自己的打算很堅定，幾乎沒有動搖的空間，就可以用 have every intention of 〜ing。這個說法比一般的表達更正式，也更能凸顯認真的態度。
